Privlaka is a quiet picturesque resort on the Riviera of Zadar in northern Dalmatia region in Croatia. The resort is located on a large peninsula and is surrounded on three sides by the sea. The mild Mediterranean climate, the warm sea and over 2540 hours of sunshine a year, making Privlaka and the surrounding area on one of the most beautiful holiday destinations in Croatia. The city of Zadar, cultural center of the region is only 14 km from Privlaka and additionally offers numerous attractions and cultural treasures.

The beaches

The area is known for its beautiful sandy beaches and bays. The beaches are mostly covered with fine sand and very shallow, which is especially appreciated by families with young children.

In addition, the beaches are far from the main roads and thus ensure its peace and solitude for a bath just meant.


Clean air and curative black mud make Privlaka attractive for people who are health problems such as asthma, rheumatism and arthritis.

Down at the beach...

 The road from our house takes you in about a hundred yards to the beach. If you have reached the bottom of the sea, you can enjoy a beautiful sea view with islands panorama. Locally is a small harbor where the boats of local fishermen are moored. Access to the sea is paved as well as space for towels and beach chairs. At our beach there is a cozy coffee bar with pleasant music where you can refresh yourself at any time. On both sides along the coast promenade that leads to the nearest beaches and hidden coves extends further ..
